Baked Chicken Drumettes

Baked Chicken Drumettes

10 chicken drumettes
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup Italian breadcrumbs
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp Cajun seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
2 - 3 tbs margarine, melted

Place chicken in a plastic bag with buttermilk. Toss to coat.  Refrigerate for 2 hours, or longer if necessary.  

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.  Line a 9" x 13" baking dish with foil. Spray foil with cooking spray.  

Remove chicken from buttermilk.  Mix breadcrumbs, chili powder, Cajun seasoning, and garlic powder in a bowl.  Dip each piece of chicken into breadcrumb mixture, coating each side well.  Place onto prepared baking dish.  Pour melted butter onto each piece of chicken.

Bake at 400 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes, turning half way through cooking, or until cooked through.
