Grilled Pizza

Grilled Pizza
pizza sauce
2 cups mozzarella cheese
toppings of your choice
6 tbs olive oil

Separate dough into two equal parts.  Roll out each ball of dough until it is about 1/4" to 1/2" thick. Brush top lightly with 2 tablespoons olive oil.  Repeat with second ball of dough.

Heat gas grill to 325 degrees.  Have all of your toppings, cheese, and sauce ready and near the grill. Place one pizza crust onto the grill, with the oiled side down. Brush 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the top of the pizza crust. Cook for 3-5 minutes, watching carefully for burning, with grill lid open.

Flip pizza.  Top with pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings.  Grill for 5 to 7 minutes, watching carefully to prevent burning.  Once the cheese is melted and the dough is cooked through, remove from grill to a pizza pan.

*Disclaimer: All gas grills cook differently.  Be sure to watch your pizza carefully and never leave the grill unattended.
