Bacon Chicken Drumettes

Bacon Chicken Drumettes

1 tbs olive oil
3/4 cup flour
Cajun seasoning
1 tbs chili powder
1 lb. chicken drumettes
 3 slices turkey bacon, diced
1 tbs olive oil
1 tbs minced garlic
1 can diced tomatoes
1 tsp sugar
1/2 can chicken broth

Heat 1 tbs olive oil in medium skillet.  In a medium size bowl, combine flour and seasoning.  Dip each chicken drumette into flour mixture, coating well.  Cook drumettes in oil until well-browned, about 10-12 minutes.  Remove from pan.  Cook turkey bacon until crisp.  Remove from pan. 

Heat 1 tbs olive oil in pan. Cook garlic for 2 minutes.  Add diced tomatoes, sugar, cooked bacon(reserving some for garnish), and chicken broth.  Cover and cook for 10 minutes.  Add drumettes, cover and cook for 15 minutes.  Garnish with reserved bacon and serve.
